About the workflow
I am always looking for subjects. When I see dogs playing - mostly my own two dogs - or beautiful landscapes, suddenly I need to paint. I use “Gras sur Maigre”. That means first I dilute the paint with a lot of “thérébentine” and for the second and third layer, I use only paint (this technique was used by the old painters). Another technique I use to capture light is to take off the paint at some places, so that you can see the canvas.
